PERSONALITY: Very sweet an innocent for a people eating plant.
She makes her victims 'feel good' in the end, experiencing their greatest
desires and dreams so they do not suffer as she consumes them alive.
Very sweet on Stan and helpful to him. She doesn't like 'dead things' and
thus does not like Kai on some level, but has been known to help
even
him, despite hisown misgivings about her carnivorous nature.
HISTORY: Lyekka is a plant. Her pod entered Lexx among a swarm
of other, similar pods. She took her form from scanning a dream of
Stanley's.
She is attached to Stan and doesn't want to eat him. On meeting Kai
she announced that she doesn't 'like dead things'.
Lyekka needs to eat. When she is not hungry she enters her pod on the
ceiling of the Lexx's bridge and lies dormant. When she is active it is
usually a preamble to one of her feeding frenzies in which she must
have
live meat, and she has no moral dilemma about eating humans if there
are no animals around. She does, however, make her victim's last
moments a blissful experience and she takes care not to inflict pain.
Being a plant, she is very hard to harm.
Lyekka is also responsible for the return of Xev. She took the container
of Zev's protein and mixed it with the proteins of a man she ate
for just
that purpose, creating Xev from 790's descriptions. How she did this
is
unknown, but it worked. Xev has Zev's personality and memories. The
new Xev was a present for Stan, since Lyekka wanted him to be happy.
