WEAKNESSES: He seems to be a trouble magnet. He also has a mouth from which sarcasm often spews forth. This is both a weakness and a strength in one. It's what keeps him sane so deep into space. Tends to piss certain people off. Desperately wants a way back to Earth.

Features: A wit that allows him to fire off a joke or an insult at any time. An IQ of 150. He learns quickly and is interested in learning the inner workings of the Lexx.
Clothes- He owns several. a NASA spacesuit which he only uses to venture outside the Lexx, an orange NASA jumpsuit with several mission patches on it, most notably one marking the Voyager mission. He also has blue NASA jogging shorts, a black tank top, white T-Shirt, black Nike sneakers and several pairs of socks. White jacket with NASA patches on it.
PERSONALITY: Varied. Most of the time is cheerful, given the situation. As mentioned before, always quick with the wit but takes many things seriously.
HISTORY: Born in 1972 in Roanoke, VA the oldest of three children, the
Fosters moved to Maryland in 1975 where Michael grew up. He graduated with
honors and went to the US Naval Academy in Annapolis. Majored in theoretical
sciences. Went out for the NASA Astronaut program in sophomore year, was
accepted. Went on several missions in the Space Shuttle, Mir, helped
work on the International Space Station. Was a natural choice for the
experimental Voyager Mars program. Test-flew the first Voyager module into
orbit around Earth, became the youngest mission commander in NASA history.
Launched Voyager module on first manned mission to Mars which was presumed
lost when the module encountered a spacial anomaly that seemed to
form right in front of them. Vanished from Earth radar.
Voyager module was actually sucked through the anomaly to the other
side of the universe, known as "The Dark Zone". Module itself survived
the trip but fellow astronauts Lt. Naomi Tokugawa and Lt. Timothy Van Hatten
were killed and Voyager's nuclear reactor began
to leak. Foster ejected the reactor, but radiation exposure was too
long and radiation poisoning set in.
Was rescued by The Lexx, the most powerful weapon of destruction in the two universes. Made a full recovery. Now serves aboard the Lexx, hoping to somehow find a way home among this band of misfits.
